‘Pew Pew’ is my nostalgia-forward photo print series about the candy-coloured blasters of childhood—summer holidays, pocket money purchases and chaotic backyard games.

Each image isolates a single toy on a bold field of colour, turning translucent plastics, exposed springs and simple trigger mechanisms into clean, minimalist pop art. Blown up to gallery scale, these everyday objects become playful design studies—bright, graphic statement pieces that hit you with colour and scale first, then the memories kick in.

Every photograph you see here began as a real scene in my studio. Objects, backgrounds and light arranged by hand, then captured in-camera. No generative AI, no digital compositing. These are real photos of real objects.
